the new supercomputer is expected to be 8x faster than nsccsg’s existing pool of hpc resources and will expand ongoing efforts in unlocking scientific discoveries across medicine, diseases, climate, engineering and more. the new system will operate at a theoretical peak performance of 10 petaflops and will be fully operational in early 2022.
